We’ve been working hard on the latest user-suggested feature to enhance the knowledge base experience – and we’re happy to give you – Attachments !
Adding files and documents to knowledge is something that a number of our users have been asking for. Keep supporting material – be that documents you need to send to a customer, or manuals that dive deeper into a knowledge article – right below the article content.
You can add up to 5 files (most usual file types are supported) to any article. Simply drag and drop your file anywhere in the editor to add a new file, or if you prefer to search for the file in your computer, just hit the “add attachment” button.
If you need to remove an attachment, just click the red X button on the right – easy !
Once you’ve added you attachments they will show at the bottom of your article. Click the links and you will download or open the file. We’ve also added attachments to our public API, so you’ll be able to retrieve articles directly from your own applications too.
